This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

The high pressure ridge is slowly beginning to build along and just off the west coast.  Today will be sunny with temperatures about like yesterday.  Winds will be light.  Thursday we will see a few mid and high clouds from a low pressure area moving through Western Canada.  Temperatures will be a few degrees above normal.  Light to moderate southwest to northwest winds are expected.

Friday the warm up starts as the high pressure pushes northward.  A strong high pressure ridge will be along the west coast by the weekend (see map below).   Temperatures will be warming and by Sunday and early next week the north valley should see their first 100+ degree readings of the year.
