Another chance of rain bites the dust. As expected the frontal system approaching the coast is splitting apart. A few days ago it was thought that the southern portion would get pulled eastward Sunday and Monday as a low pressure trough moves through the Pacific Northwest. The forecast map below shows that this is not expected to happen. The southern low will stay well off the coast.
Partly to mostly sunny and mild today and Sunday with continued above normal temperatures and light winds. There will be a few clouds late Sunday and early Monday with isolated showers on the north coast and near the Oregon border.
Tuesday through next weekend look mostly sunny with above normal temperatures and light winds.
