A low pressure area is passing through the Pacific Northwest. This system will bring a few clouds to Northern California today with isolated light showers possible this morning over the higher elevations east of the valley.
Tuesday through at least early next week we will be under a weather pattern like the one shown on the map below. This is a normal spring pattern. A weak high pressure ridge is over the west with jetstream (storm track) to our north. This will bring mostly sunny skies to the north state with above normal temperatures and relatively light winds.
