This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

The low pressure trough that brought rain to the area is now moving eastward.  There will be clouds over the foothills and mountains today with a few scattered showers.  Snow levels will be near 4000 feet.

Sunday though next weekend a high pressure ridge will be off the coast (see map below).  Northern California will be mostly clear.  The exception will be late Sunday and Monday and again on Wednesday when frontal systems passing by to the north bring a few clouds to the area.  Sunday through next weekend temperatures will be above normal and there will be periods of gusty north winds.
