This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

A fairly strong high pressure ridge is along the west coast and while it will weakened next week it will still be along the coast (see map below).  Skies will be mostly clear through midday Monday with above normal temperatures and light winds. Clouds will increase Monday and late Tuesday and Wednesday a very weak low pressure are will break through the high and move across Northern California.  This system will bring a few clouds to north state with isolated light showers over the mountains.

Skies clear late Wednesday.  However, the models have made a big switch on the last runs and indicate a wetter pattern starting Thursday afternoon and continuing through the weekend.
