This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

The high pressure ridge that is along and over the west coast is beginning to move back to the  west.   This will allow temperatures to slowly cool.  Skies will be clear through Wednesday.  Strong and gusty northeast winds will occur today and Tuesday with lighter north winds Wednesday.

As the high pressure ridge moves back to the west is allows colder air to drop southward from Alaska.  Friday a low pressure area will be off the Northern California coast (see map below).  This low will have limited moisture but will bring light showers to Northern California with snow levels 2000 to 3000 feet.

Saturday and Sunday look mostly sunny and cool with north winds.  Another storm will bring showers to the area late Sunday and Monday.
