This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

Lots of north and northeast wind over the next week.   High pressure will be just off the coast for the next 7 to 10 days (see map below).   Skies will be clear.  Temperatures will start slowly cooling today and be near normal by Sunday and Monday.   Gusty north to northeast winds are expected in some areas today through Friday afternoon.  Light to moderate southwest to northwest winds are expected Saturday.   Sunday VERY strong and gusty northeast to east winds will move over Northern California and continue through Tuesday afternoon.  Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are expected in some areas.  

Wednesday high pressure will be back over the area for warmer temperatures with light winds.
