A cold low pressure trough is to our east with a high pressure ridge off the coast (see satellite picture below). The low will move eastward later today and Tuesday. Today will be sunny with below normal temperatures. The strong and gusty northeast winds will decrease a little late today and then end by late Tuesday.
The high pressure ridge will move back over the west coast late Tuesday and remain there for the next week. Skies will be clear. Daytime temperatures will be back to 10 to 15 degrees above normal and winds will be relatively light.
