This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

Wet weather is expected for the next 5 days.   A low pressure trough is nearing the coast.  Rain from this system will move into the later today.   Moderate precipitation will occur tonight and Tuesday along with gusty south winds.  Snow levels will start out above 6000 feet but will drop to around 5000 feet by Tuesday afternoon.  Partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected for Wednesday with showers.  Snow levels will be 3000 to 4000 feet.
Wednesday night and Thursday another low pressure area will be along the coast (see map below).   This system will bring more rain to the area with the snow level 3000 feet north and 4000 feet south.  The low will move inland Friday and this will trigger showers and possible thunderstorms over the north state.

The weekend looks partly cloudy to partly sunny and then another low pressure trough will move through Monday and Tuesday.
