Weather Discussion for Saturday Aug. 1, 2020

Summer time high pressure ridges are over the western U.S. and off the west coast.  Not much change expected for the next week (see map below).  The inland areas of Northern California will be mostly sunny.  There will be a few afternoon cumulus clouds Tuesday and Wednesday with the chance of an isolated mountain thunderstorm.  Temperatures will be normal or a few degrees above.  Winds will be light nights and mornings and south to southwest in the afternoon.
