This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

The low pressure area that brought cooling and gusty north winds to Northern California yesterday is now moving eastward.  Today w8ll be sunny with temperatures below normal.  The gusty north winds will decrease during the day.

Tuesday through next weekend a low pressure trough will persist over western Canada and the Pacific Northwest (see map below).  This will keep the hot high pressure ridge to our east and south.  During this time we will continue to see sunny skies.  Temperatures will range from a couple of degrees below normal to a couple of degrees above.  Light to moderate south to southwest winds will occur in the afternoon.
