This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

The mid an high clouds over Northern California this morning are from a frontal system moving inland well to our north.  These should clear out later today.  Temperatures will be above normal and winds will be light.  Tuesday looks sunny with warmer temperatures.  Some areas of the north valley could reach the 90 degree mark.  Winds will be light.

Wednesday afternoon a weak low pressure trough will move across the north state with a few clouds and scattered light showers or thunderstorms mainly over the foothills and mountains with a chance of an isolated shower in the north end of the valley.  Light to moderate south to southwest winds will occur Wednesday afternoon.

Skies clear out early Thursday and Friday looks mostly clear with above normal temperatures. Saturday afternoon and early Sunday another weak low pressure trough will pass through with a chance of showers over the foothills and mountains (see map below).  Temperatures will cool back to near or a little below normal.

Early next week looks mostly sunny with temperatures a few degrees above normal.
