This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

High pressure will keep things sunny through Friday with daytime temperatures 12 to 18 degrees above normal.  Winds will be light.

Saturday the high moves slightly back to the west and this allows a low pressure trough to drop southward along the Canadian coast (see map below).  This trough will pass across Northern California late Saturday and Sunday with a some clouds and a few showers over the higher elevations.  Temperatures will cool back to normal or a few degrees below by Sunday.  Gusty southwest to northwest winds are expected Saturday afternoon with strong and gusty north winds Sunday.

Monday high pressure is back along the coast.  Monday through the end of the week skies will be mostly clear.  Daytime temperature will be back above normal.  Strong and gusty north winds will continue through Tuesday.
