The persistent high pressure ridge is still just off the coast.   Today through Friday we will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures 7 to 15 degrees above normal.  Gusty north winds will occur in some areas today through midday Tuesday.  Winds will be light Wednesday through Friday.

Saturday a low pressure trough will be approaching the coast (see map below).  This system will have limited moisture.  We will see some clouds Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon with light showers over the foothills and mountains with a chance of a light shower in the north end of the valley.  Gusty southwest to northwest winds will occur Saturday afternoon with gusty north winds by Sunday afternoon.

Monday the high pressure ridge will be off the coast and we will see clear skies and gusty north winds.
