The clouds over Northern California today are streaming up from the south ahead of a low pressure area that is off the coast.  The low will bring rain to the north state late tonight and Tuesday.  Snow levels will be 4000 to 5000 feet north and 6000 feet south.  Gusty south winds will occur early Tuesday.  Wednesday we will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with showers over the mountains.  Snow levels will be 4000 to 5000 feet.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies Thursday and Friday with temperatures near normal.  Winds will be light.  Another low pressure trough will move through Saturday (see map below) with more rain.  Snow levels will be 5000 to 6000 feet.  Skies will be clearing Sunday with Monday expected to be partly to mostly sunny.
