This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

The low that brought rain to the area yesterday has moved east.  Today and most of Tuesday Northern California will be mostly clear.   Temperatures will be a little below normal with light north winds.

Late Tuesday and Wednesday a low pressure trough will move through with light precipitation.  Snow levels will be 3000 to 3500 feet north and a little higher south.  Gusty south winds will precede this system.

Thursday through Saturday high pressure will be along the coast (see map below).   The north state will have mostly clear skies with near normal temperatures.

Late Sunday another low pressure area will drop over the state.  This system will bring rain to the area with snow levels 3000 to 4000 feet.
