Weather Discussion for Wednesday Oct. 9, 2019

Normal high/ low temperatures for Oct 7-Oct 14  (high/low) Redding 84/51  Chico 81/48, Quincy 73/32, Chester 69/32, Susanville 60/36, Grass Valley 74/43, Weaverville 76/37, Mt. Shasta 69/37, Yreka 73/36, Alturas 69/30.
  
This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

Strong and gusty north to northeast winds are occurring over much of Northern California.  These winds will last until Thursday afternoon.  High pressure will be over the west for the next week (see map below).  The north state will be mostly clear with a few clouds from storms moving by to  our north.  Temperatures will near normal and winds...after Thursday afternoon....will be light.  

The extended models show wetter weather pattern possible late next week.
