This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

A low pressure trough and frontal system will move through the Pacific Northwest tonight and early Thursday.  This system will bring a few clouds to Northern California with a chance of isolated showers near the Oregon border.  Temperatures today and Thursday will continue below normal.  Gusty south to southwest winds will occur in some areas this afternoon.

Late Thursday high pressure begin to build along and over the west coast.  The high pressure area will remain place for at least through next Tuesday (see map below).  Temperatures will warm and will be above normal by the weekend and remain there through at least the middle of next.  Winds will be light.

Looks now lilke another weak low pressure could move across the north state late next Tuesday and Wednesday.
