This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring

High pressure is along the coast and will hold there through Thursday.  Today through Wednesday we will have sunny skies.  Temperatures will be warming to 10 to 15 degrees above normal by Wednesday.  Gusty north to northeast winds are expected.

Thursday the north state will continue mostly clear.  The north winds will end and temperatures will cool..

Friday a low pressure trough will drop over the area and hold there through the weekend.  This is a hard feature to forecast as the models are varying from inland as shown below to more along and off the coast as forecast by the European model.  Friday afternoon through the weekend look partly cloudy at times with scattered showers over the higher elevations and a chance of a light shower in the valley.  One thing the models agree on is temperatures will cool to at least 10 degrees below normal.  Gusty southwest to northwest winds will occur at times.
