High pressure is still to our east. Early next week a weak upper level closed low will form off the Oregon coast (see map below). This low will linger there through Friday and then lift back to the north. Today through Monday the inland areas of Northern California will be mostly sunny. Temperatures today will be 4 to 8 degrees above normal but will slow cool Sunday and Monday. Winds will be light.
Tuesday through Friday we will see a few clouds at times from the off shore low and there could be isolated thunderstorms over the mountains. Temperatures will continue to cool and will be below normal Tuesday through Friday. Gusty south to southwest will occur in the afternoons in some areas.
Next weekend will be sunny with temperatures back to near normal.
