The hot weather will continue. A strong high pressure ridge is over the western U.S. and will hold there for the next week (see map below). This is our normal late July weather pattern. The inland areas of Northern California will be sunny and hot with high temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above normal. Winds will be light.
