There is a still a weak low pressure area over western Canada. This system will cause a few afternoon clouds over the far north end of the state today and Sunday. Temperatures will remain a few degrees below normal and winds will be light.
High pressure is slowly beginning to push northward along the west coast and by next weekend will be firmly established along the over the coast (see map below). This means Monday through next weekend the inland areas of the north state will be mostl clear with warming temperatures. Daytime temperatures will be above normal by Thursday and Friday. Winds will be mostly light.
