The low pressure trough will be move east of the area today. There will be scattered showers tapering off during the late afternoon. Snow levels will be 4500 to 5500 feet. Sunday we will see partly sunny to partly cloudy skies with cool temperatures.
The next low pressure trough and frontal system will move across the north state late Sunday and Monday with more rain and wind. Snow levels will be 4000 north and a little higher south. Tuesday we will see a few lingering showers and then another storm system will move late Tuesday and Wednesday (see map below). Look for more rain and wind. Snow levels will be a little lower.
Skies start to clear Thursday and by Friday and weekend we should be partly sunny with near normal temperatures.
