This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
The main band of precipitation went through last night. However, the low pressure trough is still along the coast and moving slowly eastward. This low will send bands of showers across Northern California today. Snow levels will be 5000 to 6000 feet north and higher south.
Thursday and most of Friday we have partly cloudy skies. A weak low pressure area will move through Central California late Friday and Saturday with another weak system moving through late Saturday and Sunday. These systems will bring scattered light showers to the north state. Snow levels will be 5000 to 6000 feet.
It still looks like a stronger low pressure trough will move into the area late Tuesday and Wednesday (see map below).
