This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

High pressure continues parked along and just off the California coast.   The map below shows that while the high will weaken a little it isn't moving.   Next 7 to 10 days look sunny with a few high clouds and above normal temperatures.  Periods of gusty north to northeast winds are expected during the next week.

Now the bad news.   The GFS (US) forecast model doesn't show any change in pattern through the 21st.   The European breaks the high pressure ridge down after the 11th or 12th.

The longer range models still show the ridge weakening somewhat after the 7th.
