This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
Once again look at the morning satellite picture and forecast weather map, both below. Not much difference, strong high pressure ridge will continue off the west coast. This means dry for another week to 10 days with above normal temperatures. There are a few clouds over Northeastern California this morning from a storm moving by well to our north, but for the most part the next week we will see clear skies. There will be periods of gusty north winds.
While the models indicate the ridge will weaken around the 20th, they don't really show a rain or even showery pattern.
