This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
The low pressure trough that has been along the coast is now lifting northeastward. It has pushed a few clouds over Northern California this morning but they will clear out during the day. Temperatures today will be a few degrees below normal with southerly winds in the afternoon.
Monday through next weekend we be under a weather pattern like the one shown on the map below. The jetstream will be just to our north. Skies will be mostly clear with a few clouds at times from the systems moving by to the north. Temperatures will be slightly below normal with south to southwest winds in the afternoons.
Models both show a stronger low pressure area along the coast after the 25th.
