This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

The low pressure area out in the Pacific is now stationary as high pressure rebuilds over the western U.S.   Today we will have sunny or smoky skies with temperatures near or a little above normal.  Winds will be light.  Tuesday through Thursday we will continue sunny and smoky but temperatures will be 4 to 8 degrees above normal.  Winds will continue light.

Friday and Saturday the low will move east northeastward...moving through the Pacific Northwest (see map below).   This will weaken the high enough to allow our temperatures to drop back near normal.   The low will bring gusty south to southwest winds to our area Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Next week we will back under the high pressure ridge with normal or slightly above normal temperatures.
