I am running out of ways to say "no change". High pressure is over the west and will hold (see map below). Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected today and Tuesday over the higher elevations north and east of the valley. Wednesday the isolated storms will be east of the Sierra Cascade Crest.
Temperatures will continue hot with Tuesday through Thursday seeing daytime readings 8 to 12 degrees above normal. Temperatures by the weekend will be back to 3 to 6 degrees above normal. Winds will be light.
