This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
The low pressure area that moved across Northern California this weekend is now over Nevada and is moving eastward. Today there will be a few clouds and isolated showers along and east of the Sierra Cascade Crest with mostly sunny skies elsewhere.
Tuesday through at least the start of next week high pressure will be along and over the west coast (see map below). During this time the inland areas of the north state will be mostly sunny with above normal temperatures and light winds.
