This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

The low pressure trough has now moved east and skies will be clearing over Northern California today.   Sunday will be partly to mostly sunny but clouds will begin to increase late in the day.   Monday a low pressure area will be along the coast (see map below).   This system should bring rain to all of California Monday through midday Tuesday.  This looks like a fairly wet storm but snow levels will be 6000 feet or higher.

Skies will be clearing Tuesday afternoon.   Wednesday through the weekend high pressure will be back over our area.   We will have mostly clear skies with a few clouds on Thursday as a storm goes by to our north.  Daytime temperatures during this time will be above normal. Winds will be light.

Don't want to get everyone's hope's up.....but the past 3 to 4 runs of all the models have shown a wet..windy...winter type weather pattern setting up over Northern California starting around the 15th.
