This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
Today I could actually write a 2 word blog "no change". The strong blocking high pressure ridge is still along and over the west coast and won't change much for the next 7 to 10 days (see map below). We will continue to have sunny skies with some high clouds at times. Daytime temperatures will continue above normal with light to moderate north winds.
The really bad news is that while the models show the ridge weakening after the 20th. They really don't put a rain pattern over the north state until the last 3 to 7 days of the month.
