This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

A weak high pressure area will be over our area today and early Thursday.  We will have partly to mostly sunny skies with a few high clouds.  Temperatures will be above normal and there will be gusty north winds. Thursday afternoon a weak frontal system will move through with clouds and a few showers near the Oregon border.

Friday the north state will be partly to mostly sunny.   Saturday a weak low pressure trough will move across Northern California (see map below).  This system will bring light showers to the the foothills and mountains with the chance of a light shower or sprinkle in the valley.

Sunday through at least the middle of next week high pressure will be along and over the west coast.  Skies will be clear, temperatures will be above normal.  Gusty north winds will occur Sunday through Wednesday.
