This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
The low pressure area that is over Nevada is moving eastward. The gusty north winds will be ending today. High pressure is moving closer to the coast and will remain along or just off the coast for the next week (see map below). This means continued mostly clear weather for Northern California. Temperatures today will e near normal, but then will begin to warm and by Friday will be 6 to 12 degrees above normal. Winds will be light Thursday through midday Saturday, and then another round of gusty north to northeast Saturday night through Tuesday.
