This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.
The low pressure trough is now over Nevada and slowly moving eastward. High pressure is off the coast and will be along or over the west coast for the next week to 10 days (see map below). Northern California will see mostly clear skies. Temperatures will be warming and next week will be 4 to 8 degrees above normal. Periods of gusty north to northeast winds will occur through midday Wednesday.
