This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

A strong high pressure ridge is over the western U.S.  This high pressure system will weaken a little early next week and the rebuild or strengthen the latter part of the week (see map below).   The inland areas of Northern California will be mostly sunny for the next week.  Temperatures today will be about like yesterday's.  Temperatures will cool a little Sunday, and Monday and Tuesday will be near normal.  However Wednesday through next week looks like a return to very hot weather.  Winds will be light.
