A low pressure area is over western Canada.  This system is continuing to push cool air over Northern California.  Today and Sunday we will continue see below normal temperatures.   Cumulus clouds will form during the afternoon with a few showers expected over the higher elevations.

Late Monday another low pressure area will drop southward along the Canadian and Pacific Northwest coasts. (see map below).   This system will move across the north state Tuesday.  All areas will see clouds and continued below normal temperatures.  Light rain or showers will occur over the foothills and mountains and in the valley north of Chico.

Skies will be clearing late Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure builds along the coast.  Wednesday through next weekend looks sunny with temperatures back above normal by Friday.
