This blog will be issued every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday morning and updated if the weather is changing or critical or interesting weather events are occurring.

The jetstream is still just to our north.  Today through midday Thursday Northern California will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a few showers over the coastal and northern mountains.

Thursday afternoon through the mid part of next week the high pressure ridge along the coast will push a little farther north (see map below).  During this time the north state will be partly sunny to partly cloudy with normal or slightly above normal temperatures.

At this time it looks like a return to a wet pattern late next week.
